A solution to back-sleepers is to use a tennis ball inside a sock and attach it to the back of your pajamas. This way whenever you unconsciously turn on your back you’ll feel a discomfort that will make you shift your position to the sides or on your belly.
  3. Avoid Alcohol Intake. Alcohol is a sedative substance that will over-relax your throat and will block the airways, avoid other substances that have the same effect, or at least try to limit your consumption at night.
  4. Stop smoking. Smoking brings a mountain of negative effects to your health, so snoring just adds up to this pile. It affects you because it leads to nasal and lung congestion.
  5. Avoid second-hand smoking. Second-hand smoke is the one you get from smokers around you; some experts say this type of smoke can even be more harmful! Luckily this is better to avoid than quitting smoking. If your partner smokes constantly, help him or her get over this behavior.
